Dear PT,

I wish I could be there this monday when you play live in IIT Bombay. You've been one of my greatest influence in music till date. I may never get to see your live performance ever.

But thank you for the wonderful tracks.

Picturesque

Brightest moments spent in dark,
Enchanted a heart would be ,
Illusion painted picturesque,
of all that thrown into nights
left to wither forever-most.

Unclear words sent beeds of painless joy,
far far across , holding thoughts afloat
in warmth of a distance ,
your innocence caught.

' Her Withering petals '

A manifest of this crucified hope,
Familiar sound reflecting his own blood.
Haunting , yet intriguing.
No watcher, no lock ,
only the sweet voice.

Daringly stepped out to see things clear,
Gone before he could see the face,
Left was urge to seek.
Drops of autumn fell on trembling leaves,
red from summer's departure,
weak from lack of light.

The leaves were torn and so was he ,
as he tried to follow her trace.
A winterly wind embraced his throat,
and tried its best to strangle.
What kept him going was what had left him.
It was what he couldn't keep.

Kept hunting ancient traces,
following flickering lights,
This ghost was sculpted by his desire to say goodbye.

Could left the hollow sky , as it swallowed all its sorrow.
Nearly breathless, he grasped the nearest branch.
The voice reappeared , now he was sure that it was her.
So he did his best to force his feet along.

A scarlet dress in the wind,
Shadows on stumps of once mighty trees,
spread rumours of her presence.

Looked into her eyes and took her hands.

This imagined warm touch was his relief,
Kneeling at her feet , ready for his sleep.
Had no longer wish to arise.
Put her arm around him, no more cries.
Slept there until the fierce cold awoke,
to erase all tracks of life.

November again..

Im relaxing a few minutes here after my lunch . The good thing about November is that the weather gets better . By the end of the month it drops to 15 degrees . Even less by December .
And its about this time that I took up my job . Things have come a long way since then .
The task of planning my forthcoming year lies this week . I know its going to be a good year ahead.
... Got to go then..

Back again from 2nd visit

Robert plant

Something worth mentioning and noting down in record , as i watch the moment being left back in time..a Robert Plant show i went to today..and i just came back home after the long journey..Led zeppelin ..yeah my younger days,and my first tastes in such kinds of music..all goes to led zeppelin..i remember those days..shirts,posters,dvd,live cds..new friends,guitar..bands..

And today for the first time in my life i could see him in front of me,singing.i didnt speak much or move around during the show..i was thinking about how much his music once got into me.it was all very good..Im not thrilled,no heavy hang overs,i feel peaceful..i watch them thrown back in time now..like all others..

Written from home..

Its been 3 been weeks since ive come home although I had expected to return within a week.An unexpected visa problem has caused the delay.
The good thing is Ive had more than enough time to enjoy.On the bad side,Ive already missed out many of my classes..
Hoping to return this week...

Going home

Tonight I go home.A week or less perhaps.A few things , I think of to do.A few to meet.Few not to.Few never.
Looking forward to it.

Catch me red-handed.

Right now nothing is more valuable than concentration.And always in between , someone should come pestering with disciplinary regulations and the problems of sleep deprivation and I start all over again.What do they think im doing ?I hope I'll understand that when I reach their age.But then again will I understand only because I will forget my point now?

First pay

My first pay today.Being the first ever,from other than the stiffles i got from music,it creats a little confusion . First thing now is to straighten things out a bit.Anyways Im glad .Finally..

Cold mountain

So I decide to make regular movie reviews and Cold mountain is the first that blinks across , may be because I remember this movie sustained an incredibly good feeling till the end .The only time I saw this movie was on 2007 December.The story , I will not include in any of the reviews.But it is based on Charles Frazier's novel 'On cold mountain'(1997).

The movie was released on 2003.Direction and screenplay by Anthony Minghella.Starring Jude Law(W.P Inman),Nicole Kidman(Ada Monroe) and Renee Zelwegger(Ruby Thewes).The story shifts back and forth between Inman , who is tired of fighting for The American Civil War,a cause he never beleived in,and looks forward to travelling back to his home in Cold mountain and Ada Monroe who is brought up in the urban,but is relocated to the cold mountain by her father before the onset of the War.

The movie was nominated for 7 academy awards(2004) which includes :

• Best supporting actress(Renee Zelwegger)
• Best leading actor
• Best cinematography
• Best editing
• best music,original song(Sting - You will be my Ain true love)
• Best music,original song(T-Bone Burnette , Elvis Costello - Scarlett tide)

Renee Zelwegger was given the Oscar for best supporting actress.The visuals , scenery are catchy.

And like all good movies,this one goes without mention that it will stay.A beautiful tale.

Winter weekend morning

Cold weekend mornings I love.A photo taken frm the balcony today 8:20am.Right after which we decide to go for a walk,refreshing.











Not too far from home.Photography would be one interesting to learn.Someday.

My debt to you

Things are going to need a little brush up and scheduling this week.Three courses and work is quite a busy schedule.But thankfully,things are going smooth enuf..I havent sounded this positive before.

Owing it to three people,myself and the joints.. :D. Oh then its getting late..got to wake early..busy day tomorrow.

Dear 2008,

4 hours into 2009 and we are done with the three-and-a-half-person-party.now evrythings quite.

sometimes keeping sleep drifting around at a near-distance is a wonderful thing.especially if you don't have to wake up early.but the first morning of the year is always special.

so its "goodbye".we'll never meet again :)
